BELGIUM

Belgium regulates food contact materials under the Royal Arrêté of 11 May 1992 on Materials and Objects Intended for Contact with Foodstuffs (the "1992 Decree")
This legislation provides a "positive list" for various food contact materials and it contains a list of monomers, additives and other starting substances approved to be used in plastics.
